Tell us about yourselves and where you work:
Hi there, I am George!
My career behind the bar started six years ago on the Canary Islands.
My journey took me to Basel, where I now work at WERK8.
It is a former factory, 80m long and 12m high!
Our bar serves a seasonal changing cocktail menu.
Tell us briefly about the idea behind your Linie cocktail:
My journey started in Germany where I was born and raised, mostly by my grandfather.
My grandfather Björn inspired me to create this cocktail, from there comes the name “ Björn the Drunk”.
It tells the story of my life journey and how I became the bartender I am today.
